OMAD - ABU DHABI / AL BATEEN EXECUTIVE – UPDATED INFORMATION ON TAXIWAY T AND APRONS DUE TO ONGOING REHABILITATION
INTRODUCTION
This Supplement replaces AIP SUP 61/2024, AIP SUP 53/2025 and incorporates NOTAM A4099/25 and A0261/26.
This Supplement provides updated information on taxiway T and aprons due to the ongoing rehabilitation exercise at the aerodrome.
DESCRIPTION
This Supplement provides updated information on:
- Taxiway T
- Closed Apron D and Apron E
- Apron C with a revised data, layout and operation procedures
- Charts
1. Taxiway T
Additional markings added on TWY T due to the establishment of eVTOL (electrical Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft TLOF. Refer to Aerodrome chart of this supplement.
2. Closed Apron D and Apron E
Apron D and Apron E closed.

3.2 SURFACE MOVEMENT GUIDANCE AND CONTROL SYSTEM AND MARKINGS

3.3 APRON LIGHTS

3.4 APRON C OPERATION PROCEDURES
3.4.1 Arriving aircraft procedures:
- Aircraft shall taxi to the apron using TXL C4;
- Aircraft operating into aircraft stands 1A, 1C and 1D are restricted to clockwise operations;
- Nose-in parking is mandatory for all aircraft stands.
3.4.2 Departing aircraft procedures:
- Aircraft from aircraft stands 1A, 1C and 1D shall follow the lead-out lines to enter TXL C3;
- For aircrafts parked in sequence (tail to nose) on stands 1A, 1C and 1D, the preceding aircraft shall not use its engine power to taxi out of the aircraft stand but would be towed to line-up onto TXL C3 at a designated point where it can start its engines;
- Aircraft parked on stand 2 and stand 3 shall be pushed back to face north, then towed to reach the Tug Release Point (TRP).
3.4.3 Restrictions:
- Aircraft operating on Apron C shall use minimum engine power only.
- When Code E aircraft is operating on Apron C other aircraft are not permitted on the apron.
- When Code D aircraft with length more than 60 M is parked on aircraft stand 1C, no other aircraft can be parked on any of the other 1 series aircraft stands.
- When aircraft stands in 1A and/or 1D are in use, aircraft stands in 1C shall not be available for aircraft operations and vice versa.
