Dubai, UAE, 6 November 2010: The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said that there is no evidence found related to Al Qaeda claims that an explosion took place on board of the UPS Boeing 747- 400 that was crashed in Dubai on 3rd September 2010 which killed both pilots.
In addition, the international investigations lead by UAE, General Civil Aviation team in coordination with Boeing and the (NTSB) following the retrieval of flight recorders from the Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR) and the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CRV), known as black boxes, and after analyzing all of the aircraft’s technical data shows that there was no acoustic evidence or any forensic signature supporting the detonation of an explosive device.
