  • Develop, maintain and monitor the GCAA strategic plans, operational plans, and corporate performance.
  • Lead the identification of Corporate Excellence Initiatives to meet required standards and guidelines.
  • Lead and prepare the application to the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program and other local and international awards.
  • Develop and maintain a framework of innovation whereby feasible concepts/ideas for both GCAA and the Aviation industry as a whole are constantly identified and implemented.
  • Support the preparation of Air Transport policies and agreements to be ratified by the federal government.
  • Support corporate development activities, including maintaining the GCAA organization structure, policies, process manuals, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), GCAA Authority Matrix, etc.
  • Establish a knowledge management (KM) framework and build organization-wide KM awareness, as well as, manage the corporate researches, data and archiving within GCAA.
  • Develop a customer journey strategy for GCAA including GCAA’s customer value proposition; Customer Experience vision, mission and strategic objectives.
  • Manage projects portfolio and define project standards and policies, and perform regular reporting to the GCAA top management.
  • Manage the development and implementation of GCAA corporate communications and stakeholder engagement strategy.
  • Ensure a robust framework of innovation exists at GCAA whereby new concepts/ideas for both GCAA and the Aviation industry as a whole are constantly identified and implemented.
  • Identify, allocate and formalize the sector’s Technical Focal Point for UAE Permanent Mission to ICAO.
