Air Navigation Services

  • Lead and manage the UAE Air Navigation Services function to ensure that UAE airspace is optimally utilized in compliance with International and national safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Provide Air Navigation services, including:
    • Air Traffic Management including Air Traffic Control and Airspace Planning & Management
    • Aeronautical Information Services
    • ANS, ATS & CNS Training
  • Oversee the maintenance and security of air navigation communication, navigation, surveillance systems and SZC physical infrastructure.
  • Develop quality and safety standards for air navigation services and monitor the adherence of the same standards.
  • Identify, allocate and formalize ANS Technical Focal Point for UAE Permanent Mission to ICAO.
