DATA INTEGRITY MONITORING AND ASSURANCE

After downloading the AIP package, make sure that its SHA512 hash is ac7422cf555a2bb3ef56bf5742cfc987367ef0433ce98627051998dfe9c6ebe94c672c76df4b60ff9b4c647b6b9edd23bc8d781f0b046f1feb9f6f925968ae95

In windows, use the following steps to generate the SHA512 Hash and verify the downloaded file:

  1. Open command prompt or Windows PowerShell from the Start menu
  2. Type the command cd "folder path where the 2026-P08.zip is saved"
    Example: cd "C:\AIP"
  3. Type the command certutil -hashfile 2026-P08.zip SHA512
  4. Press Enter
  5. After a while the SHA512 Hash is generated and displayed
  6. For assurance, check that the generated SHA512 Hash is ac7422cf555a2bb3ef56bf5742cfc987367ef0433ce98627051998dfe9c6ebe94c672c76df4b60ff9b4c647b6b9edd23bc8d781f0b046f1feb9f6f925968ae95

If the two SHA512 Hash are the same, you can consider your download is complete and integrity assured. If not, it is better to download it again to assure data integrity.

Note: For the SHA512 Hash of individual files refer HashList.xlsx inside 2026-P08.zip. The SHA512 Hash for HashList.xlsx is eb97f15eb595113f26393fb45ae2d59a65d374bfb5f4963dcb444be7b55cb6e10420a6eea2d17e90b21e7f698c2720ff937e681c877896a14faff1de1116ea1b

To assure the integrity of the HashList.xlsx file use the steps above by modifying the path and filename accordingly. If the two SHA512 Hash codes are the same, the integrity is assured. For more details refer to eAIP help.
