OMDB - DUBAI / INTERNATIONAL – TEMPORARY CLOSURES OF TAXIWAYS

INTRODUCTION

This Supplement replaces AIP SUP 40/2025.

The purpose of this AIP Supplement is to inform operators of temporary taxiway closures at OMDB - DUBAI / INTERNATIONAL Airport to facilitate airfield improvement works. The works are planned in various phases as indicated below. This AIP Supplement does not intend to supersede any permanent / existing aerodrome related information published in the AIP.

The effective date of the taxiway closures will be notified by NOTAM and / or Airside Advise Notice (to airport users) ahead of the closures.

Note: The work / closure phases listed below are not in any particular order.

  1. Section of TWY M between TWY M12A and TWY M13A closed.
  2. TWY M13 closed.
  3. TWY M13A west link onto TWY M closed.
  4. TWY M13B west link onto TWY M closed.
  5. TWY M12A east link onto TWY M closed.
  6. TWY M12B east link onto TWY M closed.

AREA M27 PHASE 1A

  1. Section of TXL J behind aircraft stands B8 and B9 closed.
  2. Section of TXL U behind aircraft stands B8 and B9 temporarily relocated to the north to allow Code F movements. The centerline for this section will not have centerline lights but will be installed with green reflectors.
  3. Section of crossover TWY U1 linking to the temporary section of TXL U will not have centerline lights but will be installed with green reflectors.
  4. Crossover TWY U2 relocated temporarily to the east between aircraft stands B10 and B12 linking temporary section of TXL U. The centerline for temporary crossover TWY U2 will not have centerline lights but will be installed with green reflectors.
  5. Crossover TWY U3 closed.
  6. Crossovers TWY U1 and TWY U2 will be Code F compatible.
  7. Temporary TWY sections will be available for unrestricted movements up to Code F in CAT I conditions. In CAT II/III conditions, movements may be allowed under “Follow-me” guidance, to be confirmed via NOTAM and/or ATC.
  8. Existing sections of TXL U are compatible for Code E and below only. Therefore, Code F aircraft moving on the temporarily relocated section of TXL U must be vigilant not to continue straight on the Code E TXL U sections.
