OMFJ - FUJAIRAH / INTERNATIONAL – AERODROME WORK IN PROGRESS
INTRODUCTION
This Supplement replaces AIP Supplement 31/2025.
DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this AIP Supplement is to inform operators of various closures and changes at OMFJ - FUJAIRAH / INTERNATIONAL airport.
The withdrawn RWY 11/29 is being maintained in the AIP for future re-use after comprehensive maintenance.
1. Runway 11/29 unavailability
1.1 RWY 11/29 and associated radio navigation and landing aids are not available.
1.2 All SID RWY 11/29 not available. Refer AIP OMFJ AD 2.22 and charts OMFJ-AD 2-41, OMFJ-AD 2-43.
1.3 All STAR RWY 29 not available. Refer AIP OMFJ AD 2.22 and chart OMFJ-AD 2-44.
1.4 IAP RWY 29 not available. Refer AIP OMFJ AD 2.22 and charts OMFJ-AD 2-65, OMFJ-AD 2-66, OMFJ-AD 2-67, OMFJ-AD 2-68, OMFJ-AD 2-70 and OMFJ-AD 2-71.
2. Temporary Taxiway (PARALLEL TAXIWAY)
2.1 Temporary taxiway (PARALLEL TAXIWAY) is established using part of the withdrawn RWY 11/29.
- Width: 23 M
- Surface: ASPHALT
- Strength (PCR): 1200/F/A/X/T
- Limited taxiway guidance and markings provided.
3. Taxiway restrictions
3.1 TWY F is restricted to towing only between PARALLEL TAXIWAY and Maintenance Apron.
4. Aerodrome work in progress
4.1 Details of different phases of construction works are indicated below with the aerodrome layout during the OMFJ - FUJAIRAH / INTERNATIONAL airport expansion project to be referred to in conjunction with OMFJ AD-2-21.
4.2 Establishment of taxiways after completion of each Phase will be advised by NOTAM.
4.2.1 PHASE I is complete.
4.2.2 PHASE II - TWY J is under construction and will have the following characteristics:
- Width: 28 M
- Strip: 87 M
- Surface: ASPHALT
4.2.3 PHASE III - TWY K is under construction and will have the following characteristics:
- Width: 28 M
- Strip: 87 M
- Surface: ASPHALT
4.2.4 PHASE IV - TWY F1, TWY F2, and TWY U are closed.
