Non-Airshow traffic intending to depart OMDW - DUBAI / AL MAKTOUM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT shall plan to be airborne prior to the closure of the airport, therefore clearance to start and taxi should be requested in line with this time restriction.
Arriving flights, including those flights intending to participate in the Airshow, shall plan to touch down prior to the Airport closure timings specified in Table-1.
Except for those aircraft participating in the Airshow, and for the purpose of practicing and validating displays, OMDW - DUBAI / AL MAKTOUM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and AL MAKTOUM CTR 1 and AL MAKTOUM CTR 2 will be closed for transit, landings and take-offs for all aircraft during Airport closure timings specified in Table-1.
A large formation of aircraft is scheduled to take place in a Flypast activity associated with the Airshow opening ceremony, which will also include the rehearsal prior to the main event. As a result, there will be airspace restrictions in place for non-participating aircraft by reason of the intended holding and eventual dispersal of a number of military and civil Flypast display aircraft operating in the DUBAI CTA V, VI, VII and VIII. Details will be promulgated by NOTAM, confirming dates and timings.
The following Temporary Special Use Airspace (SUA) will be established and activated during the Airport closure timings.

An Airshow Apron with a revised temporary Ground Movement Jurisdiction Zone will be established, activated, and in use during the Dubai Airshow 2025 (13th to the 21st of November 2025). The Airshow Apron will be managed and controlled by the Airshow Flying Control Committee.
The Airshow Apron comprises:
The Airshow Apron will be closed to all traffic except aircraft participating in the Airshow. Any participating aircraft due for this zone will be provided with a “Follow-Me” service upon arrival and for any subsequent departures.

The portion of Apron G consisting of TXL Z13 and Stands G23A–G23D will be opened for use and included in this Airshow Apron.
