The GCAA Management proudly announced that the IT Department has won the "Virtualization Project of the Year" Award at the 3rd Annual Network World Middle East Awards ceremony held at the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai. IT Department planned and implemented a virtual environment for systems to share resources for maximum efficiency & utilization. This initiative directly resulted in getting more out of existing IT resources, reduction of cost, increased performance, maximum ROI and towards a greener environment.

The IT Department was also shortlisted for 6 other award categories amongst the 200 organizations competing for the awards throughout the Middle East. IT will continue to strive to adopt newer technologies and to improve the efficiency & performance of IT services.
