I am pleased to present the 2011–2013 Strategic Plan for the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). This strategic plan includes the Authority’s Vision for the next three years, its updated Mission Statement, Strategic Objectives and associated performance measures for managing the Authority’s operations.

Air Accident Investigation Department in the GCAA is responsible for the investigation of civil accidents and incidents within and outside the UAE in accordance with Annex 13 to the ICAO Convention.
